This is so genius on so many levels. Eames + Ice Cube. Social Marketing GOLD. Grabbed my attention on both ends… They got someone who could speak intelligently about the subject, but appeals to such a huge demographic that might not be interested in a modern art exhibit.
Really amazing design work done by TAXI EU on the new Protest Boardwear site. Great, interactive, grab-and-drag sliders, mouseover menus that stay out of the way when they need to, and really inventive, informative hovers throughout the site. The coolest thing they’ve built in is the CSS3 movement as you scroll.
I love this photo from the new Time Magazine retrospective that chronicles their 75 greatest photos in honor of their 75-year anniversary. Eugene Smith’s 1946 photo, “Into The Light,” is composed beautifully, and the story makes it even more touching:
